Nikol Beauty eyeliner pencils do not sharpen to a point; you will ruin the barrel and formula if you try to get a sharp point. This is a softer formula for mature skin; they will sharpen to a soft, rounded tip. The high pigment payout requires little pressure to achieve the perfect eyeliner look. This is not a hard-eye pencil.
